Specifications

The Salcombe Launch has a displacement hull, a high freeboard and a spacious deep interior, making it dry and very stable. The traditional transom-hung large rudder with tiller steering makes the boat easy to manoeuvre in any conditions (or alternative centre console option with hydraulic wheel steering).

Strength and Quality Construction
The Salcombe Launch is glass-reinforced polyester built to a heavy duty specification. The stringers and floor are reinforced with marine plywood.

Engine and Controls
The launch is powered by either a 13.5 bhp (2 cylinders) or 20 bhp (3 cylinders) Beta Marine freshwater cooled diesel engine, driving a fixed 3 blade propellor. The GRP moulded engine compartment cover is sound insulated and is removable to provide excellent access to the engine.
