Specifications
The Salcombe Launch has a displacement hull, a high freeboard and a spacious deep interior, making it dry and very stable. The traditional transom-hung large rudder with tiller steering makes the boat easy to manoeuvre in any conditions.

Strength and Quality Construction
The hull and deck are hand laid glass-reinforced polyester built to a heavy duty specification. The bulkheads, stringers and floor are marine plywood encapsulated in fibre glass. the voids below the floor are foam filled and the keel and beaching keels are resin filled.

Engine and Controls
The launch is powered by either a 13.5 bhp (2 cylinders) or 20 bhp (3 cylinders) Beta Marine freshwater cooled diesel engine, driving a fixed 3 blade propellor. The GRP moulded engine compartment cover is sound insulated and is removable to provide excellent access to the engine.
